My son had a live stream online yesterday. He and his coworker aired live from Norwich, UK. I love when they do those because I get to see my son in real time while he talks about the product and his projects. Sometimes he will post old pictures or videos like he did yesterday. They are pictures from as far back as 10 years ago when he started with a hobby that became his career.

Mostly, this mom listens for his tone and for glimpses of his faraway life. It’s been about 10 months since his last stream.

Today, talking about the number of viewers watching at that very moment, my son said “My mom is definitely one of them.”

My eyes instantly burned and, let me tell you why I started crying…because he KNEW that I’d be there and I WAS there!

I will always be there for my kids. 💋
